![]() ![]() Since then I have tested CarbonBlack and really like their advance malware detection that does not rely on file signatures, they also interface with to do traditional file scanning using 60 different AV engines because no single product can detect everything. However a clean install and a good backup is the best way to remove any malware and restore a system. I also really like MalwareBytes for cleaning up infected computers. I did not test McAfee or Kaspersky but have used them in the past. Sophos offered the best all in one solution but did not have the highest detection rate so we also purchased InterceptX (powered by HitMan Pro). Symantec was good overall but a drag on the system and the most expensive. Trend Micro included cloud scanning for Office365, OneDrive and Dropbox, but their Spam filter on the low setting was catching a lot of real emails. ![]() Webroot included secure DNS which added better web protection and almost no performance impact but not all the features were available for Mac laptops. I liked ESET but they had no cloud console (however, they will be adding that feature later this year). ![]() Additional features needed were web protection/content filtering and USB drive protection which BitDefender did not have. Just finished an AV evaluation for 75 windows/mac end points which needed to have a cloud based console and included protection for mobile devices and servers. ![]()
